WELL....I would love to load this post w/ countless ultrasound pictures....BUT....we have a stubborn little girl on our hands! (LOL - My mama said not to call her stubborn! I thought that was too cute!) Anyway, we went to the dr. yesterday to have the echo and a regular ultrasound for growth and then met with a dr. Well, as usual, Harper's head was buried in my back. She was laying on her belly again with her little butt right up in the air. So, I asked, "Well, can you still tell for sure it's a girl!" Guess what? NOPE! She was sitting indian style on her feet....and WOULD NOT move! WOULD NOT!! This girl definetly has a mind of her own. lol The wonderful, sweet girl doing the ultrasound did everything in her power to get her to move and she was having no part of it! NONE! I was like omg!! So, after about 20 minutes or so of poking this momma, she said she wasn't going to be able to get the images today. She was able to see her face better and her nose and lips....Harper was actually sucking on her fingers for part of the time....too cute! :) Then, she told us that she weighed about 1 pound and 10 ounces and that was about in the 40th percentile...which is good.
I was so sore when I left from being poked on, and then we had to go see the dr. Well, I really thought I probably hadn't gained much, if any, weight this time because I just didn't feel like i had....well guess what?? WRONG AGAIN! A lot of people keep telling me to enjoy it and not to worry about it, but I have always, always been conscious of my weight and being pregnant is no exception. I just HATE that part of the visit...that is seriously what I dread every time. They shouldn't have to weigh you...lol Just kidding...I know they have to, but I wish they didn't!
Anywho, the visit went well. She said everything looked perfect and was measuring great. She said she thought I was doing great as well, so that made me feel good. She listened to her little heartbeat and it was between 150 and 155, which is good. Then, she measured me and said I was measuring around 27 weeks and I am 25 and 1/2 so she said that was normal too! So, all is well, and I could not be happier.
Now, I go back in 4 weeks and have more ultrasounds....an echo (hopefully) and one for growth. Then, I'll meet w/ a dr. again, and then I should start going weekly! So, please continue to keep us in your prayers that everything continues to go well....we sure hope so! In the meantime, we need to be working on her nursery and getting things ready....she will be here before we know it!

Good to hear everything went ok. :) Harper must be stubborn like Tuff. Our last ultrasound he was on his belly burried in my back, the WHOLE time. He wouldn't move for anything. Haha. I figure he likes to sleep on his tummy, just like his mommy! :)
I know what ya mean about the weight!!! I went to the doctor Tuesday morning and I have gained 10 POUNDS since my last visit. 10 POUNDS in ONE month. She said she wasnt concerned since I lost 6 pounds in the beginning. (I was *bad* sick for the first 4 months)So total I have only gained 7 since I had to get my 6 back... but still. 10 pounds in one month is alot. Being pregnant is definitely a good excuse! :)
Awe Harper and Tuff may turn out to be big pals. They seem like they both have that strong will going on there. HeHe.
Anyway, glad everything went well and mama is doing good to. Don't worry about the weight to much, it will come off in good time.
So glad to hear that things went well!! You guys were in my thoughts and prayers!! That little Harper is going to be the cutest little thing!!
I am so glad about all the good news you are getting from the doctor! I can't wait to meet HaRpEr!!!!!
